In Love And Getting Married? Remember It All With Video!

Without being too mushy, if you are in love and want to get married - or, being cynical, if you are not in love but still thinking of getting married! -  perhaps it has crossed your mind to capture the moment on video.
Well you could ask a friend to take a camcorder. That might work. Or it could be a complete disaster. It may appear amateurish, grainy, it could be hard to hear the best man's speech...... or your friend may just drink too much and fall into the wedding cake!
But, if your budget allows, you may be better off using the services of a Professional Videographer These guys come in all shapes and sizes and prices can vary tremendously, but as a rule of thumb, the good guys charge more - they're busy so they don't need to do bargain basement deals! Being vidographers, they should have a website and a showreel, and that should give you a really good idea of the quality and style you can expect from any videographer. After you check out a few you'll start to notice the difference.
Another point to consider is, will the owner of the business be making the wedding video in person? This can make a big difference to the end result. As videographers working as sole traders become busier, the camera work on the day may be contracted out leaving you without a known point of contact on the day. This can be clarified before you part with any money.
With luck, you will have found this brief article helpful. But if you do have any queries or actually require someone to capture your wedding (congratulations!) please contact Steve Wright. He is the award winning main man at Life Video Productions Plymouth in the UK. He is based in Plymouth, but covers the Truro, Exeter, Bristol, Reading and London area. Good luck!
